HIGH ENERGY PHYSICS LABORATORY

Our group is interested in the physics of elementary particles and the search for new physics via high-energy particle collision experiments. Currently, we are working on the precision measurement of CKM matrix and search for rare or forbidden decays of B mesons, in the Belle experiment at KEK, Japan. This experiment is expected to produce many new results on the physics of CP violations and the CKM structure of weak interactions.

Another important subject of our group is the physics of high-energy Linear Collider (LC). We are currently working on the simulation study of LC physics, especially in relation to obervation of supersymmetric particles such as charginos and neutralinos.

The research topics that we work on include:

  • Precision measurement of CKM elements from B decays

  • Search for rare and forbidden B meson decays

  • Study of CP violation through B meson decays

  • Linear Collider physics R&D

  • Applications of Artificial Neural Network in High-Energy Physics
